Cyndi A patient of mine was summoned to jury duty (in Kentucky). She was breastfeeding a 5-month-old infant. The infant did not have any supplementation from bottles or cups. She called wanting to know how to handle the situation. I told her to use the hardship clause. Didn't work...Judge demanded that she give the baby a bottle and serve jury duty.
