How can my U.S. Federal District Court’s Jury Plan be changed to excuse family caregivers?
If the U.S. Federal District Court for your jurisdiction does NOT have language in its jury plan allowing family caregivers to be excused, there are 2 ways in which it can be changed: · The fastest and easiest way
would be to write a letter to the Chief Judge of your Federal District Court requesting family friendly
juror provisions in your court’s juror selection plan.
· Another way would be to
write a letter to your United States Congressman asking him or her to
propose legislation amending the United States Code with family friendly
language for all Federal District Courts. |
